The Dean of the local university FAREM, Nubia Aracelly Barreda Rodríguez, signed an agreement with the Christine King Multiple Service Cooperative in order to enable students to do internship with our program addressing domestic violence.

In 2015 the Boston University "Henry M. Goldman" School of Dental Medicine implemented a five year program of application of fluoride varnish on children's teeth from preschools in Estelí under the supervision of Dr. Michelle Henshaw. Every three months the preschool teachers apply the fluoride varnish thanks to the coordination and support from the Ministry of the Family and Boston University.

The project addressing domestic violence (ICES) received a visit of three social workers from the Boston University. They visited the local university in Estelí (FAREM) and had an exchange with students and personnel from the psychology and social work faculty.
