Once a month the Domestic Violence Prevention Program visits the Robledal, El Paraiso and Isiquí community to give educational talks to children from the local primary schools. In August 2017 the talks were about gender, gender violence and prevention of sexual abuse.

Every month the Preventive Health Program visits San Pedro, a rural Eastern community of Estelí. The program's coordinator, Gladys Ruiz, gives educational talks to the children and their parents about hygiene. The children receive a toothbrush, toothpaste and anti-parasite medicine.

Some students of Sones Segovianos are going to participate on a concert in Estelí's Municipal Library on September 23th.

On August 24th, 2017 the Domestic Violence Prevention Program visited Estelí's "Casa Materna Luz y Vida" to give a talk about "Sex, sexuality, gender and gender violence" to 18 women. Casa Materna is a temporary hostel caring for expectant mothers, especially from rural areas.
