On December 3rd the Estelí Women's School held its graduation ceremony.

Dr. Michelle Henshaw and her colleagues in the Boston University School of Dental Medicine have set up with the local Ministry of Health a 5 year preventive program applying fluoride varnish every three months to over 800 children in different preschools in the barrios of Estelí in order to improve their dental health. Since July 2015 local teachers have been trained to carry out the program and have now taken over the quarterly application of the fluoride varnish and the continuing dental hygiene.
