In the last weekend of June this year, the Aid for Nicaragua Association of Japan organized a solar panel workshop to follow up the training work they have been devoting to the Christine King Multi Service Cooperative over the last several years.The foundation and the cooperative invited lecturer in renewable energy Jürgen Külke from the local campus of the National Autonomous University to participate with some of his students, so the workshop involved over a dozen people. The Japanese delegation giving the workshop consisted of Ito Yukiyoshi, Toshihiko Yamamoto and Kenji Ishizu. We are very grateful to our friends from Japan for making this activity possible. These workshops have been important in promoting coordination with other local groups in northern Nicaragua interested in developing solar energy.
