On June 23rd a group of young people from Managua visited the foundation for a workshop on the use of video for community activities. They took the opportunity of being in Estelí to visit veteran folk musician Don Felipe Urrutia who lives about 4Km south west of Estelí in the community of El Limón. Felipe, now 94, is also one of the pioneers of collecting folk music and songs in Nicaragua. Felipe very kindly gave an interview to the young community activists who were able to record what will come to be regarded as historic footage of one of the best loved figures in all of Nicaragua.
