In the last week of April, we began work to renew part of the floor in the main building of the Estelí Women's School. Thanks to funding from the Christine King Memorial Trust we have been able to renew both the worst part of the old school roof and now the most worn area of the school's wooden floor laid in January 1999. This work is very important so as to maintain a clean and attractive environment for our students and teachers. We will be able to reuse the timber, 75% of which we have been able to recover in fair condition, for other purposes.
