Following the effects of the flooding in October last year, we have worked hard to recover the land lost to the river and to take sustainable preventive measures to protect the site from further flood damage in the coming rainy season. Working with the local Natural Resources ministry and the local municipal authority - the Alcaldía - we devised a project to remake the course of the river, reinstate the land washed away, re-fence an area for reforestation, carry out reforestation and natural barriers to promote promotion and retention of soil.The following photographs show progress so far,
