In February, Fran Smith from Boston, an accomplished psychologist, very experienced in family counselling, visited Superemos to spend a week working with the Isis programme whose team members operate a women's shelter and carry out community education activities to enhance the programme's preventive work. Fran's visit helped the group identify their strengths and weakness and define practical ways of helping local people reduce the incidence of domestic violence in their communities.
