In November, we had a visit from our dear friend Hope Little from Chicago. Hope spent two days with us enjoying the music education program and observing part of the secondary education and skills training programs.

Hope's visit was a great excuse to head off with a group of women and children from the Superemos programs on an outing to visit the nearby sculptures of unique local campesino artiist Alberto Gutierrez.

Karen Villareina led a group of women and children to accompany Hope on the walk which took the group through beautiful local countryside. Alberto's sculpture's are set on a hill located in his family's smallholding which is reched via a short hike through unspoilt woodland with plenty of wildlife.
