New workshop and classroom space

Reconstruction of the workshops and classrooms destroyed by the September flooding is almost complete. Here are some photos of the last space to be rebuilt - it will accommodate ceramic workshop and classroom activities in a space 12 metres long by 5.20 metres wide. In total we have spent about US$4200 rebuilding the stuctures washed away in the floods.

Of that sum the Nicaraguan government provided US$3000. We owe a great debt of thanks to the Nicaraguan authorities for allocating funds to Superemos from the government's humanitarian relief fund.

We also very much appreciate the constant support of the individuals and organizations in Europe and the United States without whose financial help we simply would not have been able to cope with the numerous difficulties we encountered associated with the disruption caused by the serious flooding in September.

Thank you to all of you for your inspiring solidarity.
